We are conveniently located in Point Loma, just minutes from Dog Beach and the many shopping plazas off Sports Arena Blvd. Position Purpose We are currently seeking individuals that are comfortable working in a high-volume and fast pace environment. Individual and professional judgment is occasionally required in order to efficiently and safely complete assigned tasks. Team player and good communication skills are essential for success in this position. Responsibilities Bathing and brushing out of all dog breeds Clipping and Dremel nails Express anal glands Hand dry all dog coat types Experience with grooming all types of dog coats and length types Must be able to move/lift dogs up to 30 pounds Must be comfortable with repetitive bending, kneeling, and lifting Education/Experience A qualified applicant to this position will demonstrate knowledge and skills in the grooming industry, and either a high school diploma or its equivalent (GED) is preferred. In addition, applicants must have a minimum of one year of experience with bathing and grooming dogs with formal training and/or experience under an established certified groomer. Salary Pay is between $15 to $18 an hour, based on experience and skill.
