This travel position offers a dynamic work environment in a Level 2 trauma center, requiring a quick 30-minute response time during call shifts. Nurses will work consistent, non-consecutive 10-hour shifts from 6:15 AM to 5:15 PM with scheduled call responsibilities, offering a well-structured yet engaging schedule.Schedule/Hours:10-hour shifts, 6:15 AM to 5:15 PM, consistent days each weekCall required: 2-3 twelve-hour shifts per six-week period (weekends and holidays)Call shifts are either 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AMUp to one stay-late shift per week with on-call time (5:15 PM7:15 PM for 10-hour shifts, 7:15 PM9:15 PM for 12-hour shifts)If sent home during stay-late, no call back requiredResponsibilities:Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in the operating roomRespond promptly to emergencies within the 30-minute trauma center response windowCollaborate with surgical teams to maintain patient safety and support surgical proceduresParticipate in call rotations, including weekend and holiday coverageDesired Experience:Active RN licensure with Operating Room experienceAbility to manage trauma-level emergencies efficientlyExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAdaptability to variable shift schedules and on-call dutiesLocation Overview:Meridian, Idaho, offers a thriving community known for its family-friendly atmosphere, outdoor recreational activities, and a growing healthcare sector.
