Business Analyst - Medicaid (Richmond, VA)

Job: DMAS - Business Analyst 4 (727766)Location : 600 E Broad St, Richmond VA 23219Client : State of VAON SITE: 3/days/week required.Parking is NOT provided to contractors.ABOUT THE ROLEDMAS is developing a Third Party Liability (TPL) case management system. The case management system for TPL will require an agile approach and integration with Oracle.Qualifications• Experience working with internal and external stakeholders to collect business requirements.• Experience working with automated workflow systems and Medicaid is a plus.• Expert level knowledge of MS Excel, Visio and PowerPoint is preferred.• Demonstrated experience working in a project management office or supporting projects.• Demonstrated on-the-job experience gathering, compiling, evaluating, and interpreting complex information, as well as clearly presenting this information to stakeholders.• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work independently; self-starter.• Experience serving as project lead for complex projects.• Develops and/or contributes to project reports including but not limited to: project status, budget, and dashboards.• Ability to capture key elements in brainstorming sessions, generate group member direction, and lead group to define and achieve goals• Ability to deal with ambiguity and frequent change.• Experience working independently, effectively managing multiple tasks and directional changes• Interpersonal skills, communication, facilitation and presentation (written and oral) skillsGathering business requirements from stakeholdersExperience as project lead for complex projectsExp with Project management supportExperience with automated workflow systemsExpert level knowledge of MS Excel, Visio and PowerPointMedicaid knowledge or experienceOracle Financials
