The ideal candidate for this position is an agile, proactive, team player who is curious and open to the changing face of media buying through technological advancement.This is a collaborative and connected team dedicated to great client service as well as fostering an environment for professional growth for their team members.ResponsibilitiesLearn key programs and tools including (MediaOcean, Media Tools, IMS, ADviews, ComScore) and master media mathAssist in reporting and tracking budgets, savings and value, ensuring accuracy for internal teamAssist in evaluating partner proposalsResponsible for smooth running of day-to-day activitiesStewardship Enter buys into MBOX and ensure system reflects accurate buysUpdate buy summary documentsMonitor network buys daily based on audience delivery data to ensure delivery in flightAssist with campaign set-up and execution including order letters, specs, creative rotation and billing documentationResponsible for billing discrepancies and resolutionsCompilation and distribution of conference reports from status meetingsBe integral in campaign set-up and execution including insertion orders, specs, and creative trackersParticipate in departmental projects as requestedQualificationsBachelor’s degree preferred, preferably with a concentration in marketing, advertising, communications, business, sociology, or consumer insights 1+ year of experience within media advertisingUnderstanding of multiple media channels- Digital/Video media buying experience a plusExperience using various media tools including PrismaStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent Microsoft Office skills; PowerPoint and advanced ExcelStrong time management and quantitative skills, including analytical abilities and math proficiencyAbility to work independently and in a team setting while effectively managing prioritiesAdditional InformationStarcom is an Equal Opportunity Employer. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
