This role partners with our operations team internally, as well as outside stakeholders to develop cost strategies, manage detailed estimates, and support successful project pursuits while mentoring junior team members.What youll doLead conceptual through detailed estimates across all construction disciplinesPerform quantity takeoffs, cost modeling, and subcontractor bid levelingAnalyze drawings, specifications, and market conditions to develop accurate pricingManage subcontractor outreach, bid packages, and proposal evaluationsSupport value engineering and identify cost-saving opportunitiesCollaborate with design teams, project managers, and leadership on pricing strategy and risk analysisPrepare bid summaries, presentations, and final proposal submissionsTrack market trends, maintain cost data, and improve estimating processesMentor and support junior estimators and preconstruction team membersWhat were looking forBachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field8+ years of commercial construction estimating experience, including complex projectsExpertise in conceptual estimating, takeoffs, and multi-discipline cost developmentStrong knowledge of construction means and methods, materials, and market conditionsExperience with both general contracting and construction management delivery modelsStrong analytical, communication, and leadership skillsThe O-A-K Advantage We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including but not limited to salary, 401(k) profit sharing, paid time off, health insurance.
