Candidates demonstrating broader leadership, management, and business impact may be considered for a Finance Manager title.The North America Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team provides financial insights, planning support, and strategic analysis that help senior leaders make informed business decisions. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will partner closely with FP&A colleagues and business leaders across North America to deliver meaningful analyses, support planning and forecasting activities, and drive data-informed decision making.In this role, you will collaborate with senior stakeholders, including function leaders, Managing Director & Partners, the North America Regional Chair, and the North America CFO and CHRO. You will apply strong analytical capabilities, sound business judgment, and a collaborative approach to evaluate opportunities, solve complex business challenges, and support key strategic priorities.Key Responsibilities IncludeDrive financial analysis and insights that support functional cost management, business planning, and resource allocation decisionsPartner with functional leadership and FP&A colleagues to develop financial projections and forecasts, providing recommendations that inform strategic and operational prioritiesDeliver performance reporting and business insights through variance analysis, KPI tracking, benchmarking, and executive-level reportingBuild financial models and scenario analyses to evaluate business opportunities, risks, and investment decisionsIdentify and implement improvements to financial processes, reporting, and governance through collaboration with cross-functional stakeholdersRespond to ad hoc business questions and analytical requests with a high degree of quality, accuracy, and timelinessWhat You'll DoTranslating complex financial and business data into actionable insights and recommendationsBuilding trusted relationships with stakeholders across teams and levels, and communicating financial insights clearly to both financial and non-financial audiencesApplying strong analytical thinking, business judgment, attention to detail, and creativity to solve complex problemsManaging multiple priorities and adapting effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environmentTaking initiative, working independently, and driving work forward with limited oversightContinuously learning, seeking feedback, and expanding technical and business expertiseWhat You'll BringBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related field; MBA or Master’s degree preferred5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, accounting, or a related fieldDemonstrated ability to independently structure analyses and develop actionable business insightsExperience building financial models, forecasts, budgets, and executive-level reportingStrong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders through data-driven recommendationsAdvanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience using Power BI and other visualization tools to develop reporting and business insightsExperience leveraging AI-enabled tools and technologies to improve analysis, reporting, efficiency, and decision supportProven ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across functions and levelsWho You'll Work WithYou will join BCG’s North America FP&A team and collaborate closely with finance colleagues, functional leadership teams, and senior business leaders across the region. The team partners with stakeholders throughout North America to support planning, performance management, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives that enable business success.Success in this role requires strong collaboration, intellectual curiosity, sound business judgment, and the ability to influence decisions through thoughtful analysis and clear communication. This role is designed for those who thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment and is not intended for remote or virtual work.Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, contributions to BCG’s Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (PSRF), and a market leading benefits package described below.We expect total annualized compensation for Boston-based employees to be approximately the following:Base salary between $103,000- $127,000 (USD); placement within this range will vary based on experience and skill level Annual discretionary performance bonus between 0-12% 5% Profit Sharing Retirement Fund (PSRF) contribution, increasing to 10% after two years of service.
