They are looking to bring on an experienced Director of Quality who can help them get ISO certified, guide quality on the floor and lead their strategic direction.Job DescriptionSet the overall approach for product quality, making sure it lines up with engineering and manufacturing goals and meets industry standards.Maintain and updates the full quality system, keeping procedures, documentation and audits current.Run daily quality operations, including checks on incoming materials, in-process work and finished products.Review supplier performance, handles audits and follows up on issues to make sure parts and materials meet expectations.Lead root-cause work when problems come up and turns findings into long-term fixes and improvements.Guide and supports the quality team, building a mindset focused on accuracy and craft.Design and oversees testing for critical incoming components before they're approved for use.Review inspection data, keeps clear records and reports findings to engineering and leadership.Create and maintains quality standards and measures used across the production floor.Check that measurement tools are used correctly and that calibration stays up to date.Track non-conforming parts and decides on follow-up actions or next steps.Follow all safety rules and helps maintain a clean and compliant workspace.Support external audits, provides required documents and keeps certification files organizedMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
