Creative Marketing Artist

Overview Sullivan Paper Company is looking to hire an individual to assist Sullivan Paper’s Art and Marketing Departments. This individual will be involved in many activities and campaigns involving item photography, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Excel usage, and cross-department collaboration with teams and individuals. Sullivan Paper is a converter and printer of decorative papers. Our products are proudly manufactured in Massachusetts and can be found all over the world. Sullivan Paper creates high end wrapping for retailers, box covering papers for use by cosmetic companies, candy companies, and more. Responsibilities Support the Art Department, and Sales and Marketing Department with long term and short-term projects. Weekly planning meetings with 3rd party marketing agencies to develop advertising and promotional campaigns for products or services on a variety of media (social, print etc.) See all ventures through to completion and evaluate their success using various metrics Prepare and maintain content for the publication of marketing material and oversee distribution – primary channels being Company site, Facebook, LinkedIn, email, and publication – examples include printed product brochures, swatch books, website catalogs, and product databases. Develop imagery and graphics for weekly social media posts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others) Work with Sample Department to curate items for each campaign Work with Sales Department to coordinate marketing campaigns with seasonal sale trends Work with Art Department to generate promotional photography and product photography and imagery Collaborate with Art Department team members to determine new designs and stylings Manage back end of website item catalog data and images Maintain accurate spreadsheets of item data for sales/website Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for promotion and growth for the Company Requirements Knowledge of marketing techniques and principles Experience photographing product images for marketing and sales. Willingness to learn and develop industry specific Photoshop/Illustrator procedures for preparing artwork for print Good understanding of market research techniques, statistical and data analysis methods Working knowledge of Google Ads, Facebook campaigns, and Mailchimp email marketing Thorough understanding of social media and web analytics Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office apps – heavy use of Excel and Outlook Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite – Proficient in Photoshop, knowledgeable in Illustrator and InDesign Excellent self-organization, scheduling, and prioritization of simultaneous projects. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively and appropriately with the public, customers, and Company personnel Creative mind, likes working with others and collaborating on projects Creativity and commercial awareness Employee may be required to attend department meetings/events/activities and/or shows Physical and Mental Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
