ACI Building Systems is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to oversee purchasing activities, inventory control, and production scheduling to support efficient production operations. This role ensures timely material procurement, accurate cost tracking, and effective coordination across departments and vendors.Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily purchasing operations, including ordering materials, supplies, and consumablesMaintain inventory levels by generating reorder reports and placing orders as neededCoordinate production and shipping schedules to support operational efficiencyProcess job materials and anticipate material needs based on production demandsTrack and update purchase orders, costing data, and inventory recordsMaintain accurate documentation, including packing lists, schedules, and reporting spreadsheetsCommunicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve supply and scheduling issuesSupport monthly and periodic reporting, including open purchase orders and inventory trackingAssist with ERP system processes, cost updates, and continuous system improvementsOther duties as assignedQualifications & SkillsExperience in purchasing, inventory management, or supply chain operationsProficiency in ERP/accounting systems (e.g., Sage, Microsoft Dynamics 365)Strong organizational and multitasking abilitiesHigh attention to detail, particularly with cost tracking and data managementEffective communication and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially ExcelPhysical Requirements: Office-based position with routine use of a computer.Ability to lift 25 lbs., bend, squat, kneel, sit, and/or stand for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation.Equal Employment Opportunity StatementACI Building Systems is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
