Injection Production Technician
Injection Production TechnicianThe Injection Production Technician monitors automated production equipment, maintains supply of production materials, inspects parts, operates forklift, and various other tasks, all with an emphasis on quality and safety.Duties/Responsibilities:Understands the processing aspects of equipment, performs quality checks, and reports any defects to shift Leadership and/or QAResponds to machine alarms promptlyPerforms basic troubleshooting on machines and communicates problems to shift leadership and/or Maintenance teamsProperly completes detailed paperwork concerning production data, heldware, downtime and machine reports in a timely mannerEnsures optimum part qualityCorrectly inputs all SPC data in a timely fashionMaintains a clean, safe, and orderly work areaPerforms other related duties as assignedRequirementsRequired Skills/Abilities:Ability to follow directions and work well in a teamThorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsInterested in Continuous Improvement and able to thrive in a self-directed environmentUnderstanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulationsEducation and Experience:HS Diploma/GED Required. Three years of relevant experience (one employer) may be substitutedAt least one year of related experience preferredPhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods working on feetVisual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced
