Analyst / Senior Analyst, Healthcare Advisory Retained Services The Marwood Group is a leading healthcare advisory services firm headquartered in New York City with offices in Washington, DC, and London. The Retained Services team advises and consults with the firm’s ongoing client relationships, including lenders, credit agencies, private equity firms, and corporate clients on healthcare policy, reimbursement, strategy, and market dynamics. Areas of focus include Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, workers’ compensation, market, and clinical compliance. Marwood operates at the intersection of Wall Street and Washington, with experienced professionals from top banking, consulting, and healthcare operations firms, as well as senior political and governmental positions.The Retained Services team is currently seeking candidates for an Analyst / Senior Analyst position in its New York offices. This position offers unique opportunities for exposure to decision-making at all levels, as well as direct visibility to firm leadership and management in addition to the firm’s retained services clients.Principal duties and responsibilities:Support Marwood’s team of consulting professionals in managing and delivering on a rapidly growing book of business of ongoing relationships with the firm’s retained services clients, which primarily consist of private credit and other lending institutionsAssist on execution of inbound inquiries throughout the delivery timeline, assembling cohesive cross-functional products for clientsContribute to ongoing portfolio management, tracking developments in key healthcare sectors relevant to client prioritiesResearch state-specific coverage, delivery, budget, reimbursement, and regulatory dynamics across healthcare sectorsConduct high-level analyses to provide insight into sector-specific market trendsAccurately synthesize key information from client calls and meetingsManage tracking of ongoing team workflow to ensure deliverable timelines are metAssist on scheduling and administrative tasks to support team and clientsQualifications:0-2 years of professional work experience (health care experience preferred)Bachelor’s Degree from a top tier universityDemonstrated attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to prioritize and multi-task effectivelyExperience working in a team environment, as well as independently and autonomouslyExcellent oral and written communication skillsDedication to meeting fast-paced deadlinesAll applicants must have authorization to work in the U.S.For consideration, please email resume and cover letter as attachments with salary expectations to with the subject title “Retained Services - Analyst / Senior Analyst”Marwood offers a comprehensive compensation package with full benefits.
