Test Engineer - AI & Automation Testing

Role SummaryResponsible for validating AI model outputs and application functionality by ensuring data accuracy, business logic integrity, and system performance.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and execute comprehensive test plans for AI models, data validation, and application workflows.Develop and maintain automated test suites for APIs and UI (e.g., Selenium-based automation).Validate business logic, edge cases, and non-functional requirements such as performance and reliability.Define and implement evaluation metrics for AI systems (accuracy, hallucination detection, guardrail compliance).Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproducible steps; collaborate with engineering teams for resolution.Support release readiness through quality gates and continuous improvement of QA practices.Required Qualifications3+ years of experience in QA/Test Engineering for web or service-based applications.Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium and API testing tools such as Postman.Strong knowledge of test case design, defect lifecycle, and Agile QA methodologies.Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA).Strong analytical skills to validate data quality and system outputs against requirements.Preferred QualificationsExperience testing ML/LLM-based systems, including evaluation datasets and prompt validation.Exposure to performance testing (load/stress testing) and system observability.Knowledge of accessibility testing for UI applications.
