FP&A + Operations Analyst

Position FP&A + Operations Analyst (Japanese/English Bilingual) Summary We are looking for a Japanese-English Bilingual FP&A + Operations Analyst for a San Francisco-based law firm serving mainly Japanese-speaking clients. This position is primarily to provide coverage during an employee's maternity leave (expected Aug 23 – Jan 23), with the possibility of converting to a permanent role after the initial assignment. This is a standalone, hands‑on position owning the firm's full‑cycle accounting (AP/AR, billing, payroll reporting, month‑end close) as well as client trust (IOLTA) accounting and outsourced bookkeeping for a portfolio of business clients. The ideal candidate is a self‑directed accounting professional with strong QuickBooks skills, solid reconciliation experience, and ideally, a background in law‑firm trust accounting and multi‑entity work. Essential Duties Internal Accounting: Full-cycle firm accounting (AP/AR, billing, payroll reporting, month‑end close). Client & Trust Accounting: Client trust (IOLTA) accounting and outsourced bookkeeping for business clients. Working Hours, Working style Flexible hours / Full‑time or Part‑time Expected: Aug 23 – Jan 23 Working Location In‑office (San Francisco, CA) at least a hybrid mix of one or two days in the office.
