Entry Level Staff Accountant

Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a food and beverage service company located in Downtown Boston to identify a motivated entry-level Staff Accountant.Highlights of the Staff Accountant opportunity:Team oriented with group who is seeking a driven and detail oriented individual to grow their careerA review on Indeed said, “Busy and a fun work place with amazing co-workers.”Opportunity for upward mobilityThe Staff Accountant’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:Accounts Payable tasks and Manage Accounts Receivable production and collectionEnter and code invoices daily and develop the knowledge of databaseCreate daily sales flash comparing current and prior yearDevelop relationships with vendors and manage accountsReconciliation of accounts and support with some payroll tasksAssist with month end close process, inventory management and food cost analysisDaily and weekly sales auditingReview weekly paperwork to ensure accuracy of sales, customers, gift card transactions, and employee disbursementsQualifications for the Staff Accountant position:Bachelors Degree in Accounting/ Finance or related field is preferred1+ year of related work experience (including internship experience)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExcel skills including pivot tables and vlookups, and familiarity with at least one major ERP
