Visit our website at www.savashealth.com.We are looking for a full-time Registered Dietitian to join our team.Position PurposeParticipates in a multidisciplinary team to develop, monitor and adjust comprehensive and coordinated care plans. Provides advice and counsel on food and nutrition to patients in individual and group settings.Job DutiesParticipate in a multidisciplinary team to develop, monitor, and adjust comprehensive and coordinated care plansAssess patient lifestyle, nutritional, and health needsAssist patients in the development specific nutrition goalsDevelop thorough and cost-efficient meal plans that include healthy foods and meet nutrition goalsEvaluate the effects of meal plans and change the plans as neededCounsel patients on the relationship between good eating habits and preventing or managing specific diseases in individual and group settingsTranslate nutrition science into understandable, practical eating adviceKeep up with the latest nutritional science researchProvide services in accordance with company guidelines, state and federal laws and regulations. Prepares and reviews patient histories and obtains data through interviewsMaintains detailed, legible and confidential medical records after each patient visit in accordance with established protocolsCodes encounter forms according to time of the visit, procedures performed and pertinent ICD-codesAttends internal and external meetings, workshops, and conferences and participates on task forces or committees, as necessary and/or required by companyPerforms all duties and services in full compliance with Company standards of care as well as all policies and proceduresFollows Company Standards of Customer Service BehaviorParticipates in Quality Improvement (QI) InitiativesComplies with Attendance & Punctuality PolicyOther duties or responsibilities as assignedQualificationsCurrent Registered Dietitian licensure/certification in California. 1-3 years of relevant work experience required. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Effective interpersonal skills. Bilingual in Spanish/English (preferred).
