Caregiver/Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) can make a difference in the life of someone by supporting daily life skills, encourage community interactions, build a social network, go on outings, and have a great time while getting paid to do so.
A Job Coach is a Direct Support Professional (DSP) that helps people learn their job, communicate with coworkers or explore community jobs.
Outreach is when community partners and businesses are contacted on behalf of clients and the company.
On the job training and CPR/First Aid certification

Starting wage: $17.00 plus per hour DOE
Caregiver / Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Job Summary
The Caregiver/Direct Support Professional (DSP) is responsible for a variety of duties related to the support and overall care of individuals with disabilities who are participating in community support programs. This could be 1:1 supports or group activities such as bowling, movies, etc.
This includes direct support of program participants/clients and implementation of
Individual Support Plans (ISP), Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSP) and
ADLs/IADLs. Direct Support Professionals are required to perform all duties in accordance with State of Oregon’s regulations, and company policies and procedures.
Schedules vary based on client need.

Have a good attitude.
Minimum 18 years of age and have a High School diploma or equivalent.
Possess and maintain a valid Oregon driver’s license, and insured vehicle that meets minimum State of Oregon insurance requirements.
Able to pass a Background Check that meets State of Oregon requirements.
Basic computer knowledge.
Ability to use cloud-based computer software.
Preference
Prefer one year experience delivering direct support services to people with disabilities or direct care services either in classroom, place of employment, day care, medical, or residential settings.
Current CPR/1st Aid Certification or willing to obtain within 30 days.
Core Competency & Training Certifications for Employment/Direct Support Professionals or obtain within 30 days of hire.
Work location
Work is performed at various locations in the community based on customer needs.
Work hours vary and are generally 20 to 40 hours a week.
