They're looking for a DevOps focused engineer to join their cloud application team and own deployment, operational reliability, and supporting infrastructure across a growing portfolio of cloud based applications.This is a mid to senior level role built for someone who wants to shape how a modern engineering org ships, operates, and scales software, working across a Google Cloud and Kubernetes based environment with real production weight behind it, including large scale, data intensive systems in a high reliability industrial setting.What You'll DoDesign, implement, and maintain deployment workflows for cloud applications running on Google CloudBuild and manage Kubernetes based deployment infrastructure with a focus on reliability, repeatability, and operational clarityOwn and improve GitOps and continuous delivery processes using ArgoCD, Terraform, GitHub, and GitHub ActionsDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelines that support safe, efficient, observable software deliverySet up and improve monitoring, alerting, and operational visibility across cloud hosted applications and servicesManage and evolve cloud networking infrastructure to support secure, reliable application connectivityBuild internal utilities and tooling to automate deployments and operational workflows, including for large scale or data intensive applicationsPartner closely with software engineers to improve deployability, observability, incident response, and operational maturityContribute to infrastructure standards, deployment patterns, and platform best practices across the teamSupport production operations, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis when issues ariseWhat You BringExperience in DevOps, platform engineering, SRE, or cloud infrastructure rolesStrong hands on experience with Google Cloud PlatformStrong hands on experience with Kubernetes in production environmentsExperience managing infrastructure as code using TerraformExperience with GitOps and application delivery using ArgoCDExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub ActionsExperience supporting cloud applications written primarily in Node.js, with some exposure to Go, Python, or JavaExperience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational troubleshooting in cloud environmentsStrong understanding of cloud networking, service connectivity, access patterns, and infrastructure security fundamentalsAbility to write automation scripts, utilities, and deployment tooling to improve team efficiency and reliabilityNice to HaveExperience supporting large scale data or big data application deploymentsExperience improving developer workflows and internal platform toolingFamiliarity with production operations in high reliability or industrial environmentsExperience with incident response, postmortems, and operational improvement practicesExposure to regulated or safety conscious industriesDevOps Cloud Engineer | Herndon, VA (Hybrid, 2 days/week) | $140k-$165k + bonus
