Housekeeping Supervisor

We endeavor to be a highly effective, lean, and fast-moving organization.The Housekeeping Supervisor (age 18+) is responsible for managing the daily operations of our housekeeping department. This is a full-time position and reports to the Office Manager.Duties & ResponsibilitiesClean cabins, restrooms, and other areasInspect cabins and other facilities to ensure cleaning standards are metMaintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipmentMaintain SDS and inventory for all chemicalsComplete required reports on a timely basisSchedule staff, monitor payroll and maintain compliance with labor budgetParticipates in the recruitment process and selection of talent for the departmentCollaborate with park and home office departmentsServe as the park’s Manager on Duty on a rotating basisCoordinate and oversee various projects from start to finishRespond to guest inquiries using the company’s service recovery guidelinesUtilize and learn reservation system for daily planningParticipate in other projects and activities as assignedEducation/Training/ExperienceHousekeeping experience requiredExperience in customer service, hospitality, and management preferred Qualifications/RequirementsBasic computer skills Strong organizational, motivational, and leadership skillsExcellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail, speed, and accuracyAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environmentStrong work ethic and a positive attitudeRequired to work nights, weekends, and holidaysWork with minimal supervisionMaintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, coworkers, and management Essential Physical DemandsAble to lift up to 50 lbsMust be able to remain in a stationary positionRegularly move throughout the parkContinuously climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawlAble to manipulate fingers, hands, and arms to reach, carry, lift, etc.Constant exposure to outside weather conditionsNorthgate provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.Northgate is also a proud participant of the E-Verify Program.
