JOB TITLE- LANDSCAPE CREW MEMBERPAY RANGE: ($18.75)Position OverviewSupports daily construction and maintenance operations by efficiently completing assigned tasks.Essential DutiesCompletes lawn and plant care tasks, including mowing, edging, weeding, and mulchingCompletes assigned tasks efficiently, thoroughly, and in accordance with company production rates and requirementsOperates all landscaping equipment in accordance with manufacturer and safety standardsUses basic tools safely and properly, including but not limited to, shovels, grading rakes, spades, grub hoes, and wheelbarrowsFollows all project plans, material lists, and/or guidelinesEnsures installation of all lawns, plants, and masonry align with company standardsMaintains a clean and safe work site including proper maintenance and care of all company equipmentWorks in a safe manner and reports any/all unsafe conditions to Crew Leader and/or Maintenance/ConstructionPromotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practicesPosition may perform other duties as assignedEducation, Knowledge And ExperienceMinimum 1 year landscape industry experience preferred, not requiredSkills And QuailifactionsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentAbility to perform all aspects of landscape tasks in a safe mannerAbility to manage multiple priorities/tasksWORKING CONDITIONSOutdoor conditionsExtended work hours during peak seasonsRequires substantial physical activity performing strenuous activities of a productive and technical natureRegular exposure to outdoor weather conditions of extreme heat and extreme cold; consistent exposure toExposure to air pollution, allergens, dust, pollen, insects, and other potentially harmful itemsNaturally occurring hazards; continuous exposure to moving mechanical parts and sharp objects
