A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - Cardiac Cath Lab Job Details: • Work in Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology with 3 suites/labs • Position is mainly EP (Electrophysiology) - extensive EP experience required • Shift times: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM • Available shifts: AM 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Mid 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM, PM 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM • Call requirement: 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month (48 hours) • Weekend requirement: 2 RNs every weekend (48 hours) • Response time for call: within 30 minutes • Handle approximately 10 cases per day on average • Work with IR and Cardiac cases • Charge nurse responsibilities included • Scrubs provided by facility • Work with telemetry and ventilator patients • No floating required • Unit-specific orientation provided • Holiday coverage shared amongst staff • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA) • BSN not required • Use Cerner charting system and Mac Lab equipment • Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment Facility: This medical center operates a comprehensive Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology department with modern equipment and technology.
