Insider Risk Analyst (eDiscovery) - Hybrid in Charlotte, NCOptomi, in partnership with a client in the financial services space is hiring a Senior Insider Risk Analyst to support investigative workflows within a growing insider risk program. This role focuses on data preservation, legal hold processes, and investigative support in collaboration with Legal, HR, and Security teams.You will play a key role in ensuring investigations are conducted with proper data handling, defensibility, and adherence to eDiscovery best practices.What You’ll DoSupport insider risk investigations through data collection, preservation, and analysisManage legal holds, chain of custody, and data protection workflowsUtilize Microsoft Purview (or similar tools) for eDiscovery and compliance-related tasksAssist with case development including evidence gathering, documentation, and reportingCollaborate with Legal and HR to support investigation processes and outcomesHelp refine workflows and processes as the insider risk program maturesContribute to policy tuning and investigative proceduresWhat We’re Looking ForExperience with eDiscovery processes, legal holds, and data preservationUnderstanding of chain of custody and defensible investigation practicesFamiliarity with compliance, legal, or investigative workflowsExperience with Microsoft Purview preferred, but not requiredExperience with other eDiscovery platforms (e.g., Relativity, Exterro, etc.) is acceptable3–7 years in eDiscovery, compliance, investigations, or related rolesExperience supporting legal, HR, or security investigationsStrong attention to detail and documentationAbility to work through ambiguity in evolving processesClear written and verbal communication skills
