POSITION SUMMARY
The Design Center Resource Coordinator is responsible for welcoming visitors to the Design Center, checking them in, providing direction and information in a prompt, efficient manner, and assisting with LVDC administrative tasks and special projects. The Design Center Resource Coordinator is the only front of house position on the World Market Center Las Vegas campus and is stationed at the information desk in Building A. The position demands excellent interpersonal skills and reliability.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Providing exceptional customer service to LVDC customers and showroom partners
Welcome guests and greet them cheerfully at the Building A information desk
Direct vendors and other non-LVDC visitors as needed
Utlize ANDMORE CRM to look up & validate buyers
Check in and badge LVDC visitors including buyers, consumers, and vendors
Educate consumers about LVDC upon arrival; connect consumers with Design Salon as needed
Answer phone calls, handle general information questions and requests, and connect calls to appropriate personnel by transferring calls and ensure that no calls go unanswered.
Assist other LVDC staff with special projects as needed
Take notes during showroom manager meeting, produce and distribute minutes to attendees
Maintain/manage LVDC documents, contact lists, schedules, etc.
Communicate relevant building and ANDMORE updates to LVDC showroom staff
Support LVDC events & related tasks
Oversee the Building A Information Desk during Las Vegas Market
QUALIFICATIONS
High degree of poise and professionalism
High attention to detail, and be highly organized
Experience in the home furnishings and/or design industry preferred
Excellent communication skills
Ability to greet Design Center visitors, answer questions and provide clear directions
Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to ANDMORE.
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk or hear. The team member frequently is required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
