Receiving Supervisor
Oversee the timely receipt of incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality.
Conduct thorough inspections of items to verify compliance with specified standards.
Ensures that all employees are following safety standards, particularly as it relates to operating forklifts and tanker unloading.
Catalog received items accurately, recording necessary details for inventory management.
Ensures that all Epicor receiving transactions are performed accurately, and on-time.
Accountable for the timely processing of all returned materials (RMA’s) including inspection, Epicor processing, and disposition.
Accountable for Team KPI’s including receipt processing time, inventory accuracy, overtime rates, and overall cost per package shipped.
Ensure organized and efficient storage of received materials within the warehouse or designated areas.
Manage the receipt and reconciliation of subcontracted items upon return.
Balances supervision of Receiving Team with personal participation in the unload, count, inspect, receipt, and put away process.
Work closely with the Purchasing, Accounting, and Inventory control to resolve any discrepancies related to goods received not invoiced or invoiced not received.
Partner with the shipping team to efficiently load and unload shipments, sharing resources as needed for smooth operations.
Collaborate with the inventory team to address any discrepancies in inventory counts or records.
Investigate and resolve issues arising from discrepancies promptly and efficiently.
Lead and manage a team of receiving personnel, providing guidance and support.
Schedule tasks and allocate resources to ensure the smooth operation of the receiving department.
Assist in the receiving process as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned

High School Diploma or GED
Fluently speak, read, and write in English
Spanish bilingual a plus
Skilled use of computer, Internet, and shipping company websites.
Basic Math Skills
Ability to lift up to 75lbs repeatedly
Ability to work in a loud environment
Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment
DOT 49CFR certification
3-5 years experience in a fast paced distribution environment
Position starts at $25/hr non-exempt
