Receiving Clerk

Job Summary: Join our Production Operations team as a Receiving Clerk, responsible for performing physical and administrative tasks related to receiving, storing, and distributing materials, parts, and supplies. Ensure inventory accuracy through proper documentation, process verification, and system updates. This role reports to the Supervisor/Manager of Materials Management. Key Responsibilities:Receive, verify, and sign in all incoming shipments at the dock or bay stations.Confirm delivery accuracy by checking addresses, box counts, and related documentation.Record all deliveries in the Receiving Delivery Log for reference and tracking.Estimate, count, and document materials from vendors manually (under 100 pcs) or by scale (over 100 pcs).Input receiving data including counts, book dates, and box quantities into tracking systems.Process and reconcile small packages by matching with packing slips or Bills of Lading.Deliver processed packages or materials to designated departments or recipients.Coordinate and schedule material deliveries between multiple facilities via company or third-party trucks.Perform quality checks on received materials before storage or distribution.Stage material skids for warehouse put-away, including bulk and mixed-item staging.Maintain accountability for special-handling and courier shipments (e.g., overnight, next-day air).Support team readiness for management or client tours by maintaining neat and organized work areas.Ensure compliance with all ISO processes, documentation, and quality standards.Participate in cycle counts and recommend improvements for material levels and inventory accuracy.Maintain cleanliness and organization of receiving docks and adjacent areas.Provide direction and motivation to temporary staff, demonstrating professionalism and teamwork.Focus on operational efficiency by recommending process improvements.Engage with team initiatives in alignment with the departmental action plan. Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent work experience in fulfillment, logistics, or production operations.OSHA certification or experience operating licensed machinery such as forklifts or pallet jacks.bility to stand, stoop, or kneel for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds waist-high.Flexibility to work varied schedules based on production volume, including weekends and holidays.Strong organizational skills with attention to accuracy and detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proven ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Professional attitude with a commitment to company policies and workplace safety.Proficiency in English; Spanish language skills are an asset.
