Maintenance Worker
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all facilities and equipment are maintained in optimal condition. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to perform a variety of maintenance tasks efficiently and effectively.
Duties
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on buildings and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
Conduct repairs in areas such as electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
Fabricate and weld components as needed for repairs or modifications.
Execute residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetics and protect surfaces.
Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively.
Utilize tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics and repairs.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs made and materials used.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure that all maintenance needs are met promptly.
Skills
Proficient in English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with team members and management.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
Experience in facilities maintenance with a focus on safety protocols.
Ability to maintain high standards of workmanship while completing tasks efficiently.
Familiarity with electrical systems, including the ability to read schematics and perform necessary repairs.
Experience in residential painting techniques is a plus.
Capability to fabricate parts or components as needed for repairs or enhancements.
