Our organization is excited to announce an opening for board-certified or eligible neurologists interested in pursuing a Clinical Educator role within the Department of Neurology. We value a comprehensive interest in clinical neurology, and while a subspecialty focus is not mandatory, candidates with such interests are encouraged to develop them alongside our existing subspecialty programs. Potential subspecialty areas for this role may include EMG/neuromuscular (preferably with fellowship training), movement disorders, neuro-otology, headache management, multiple sclerosis, functional disorders, or dementia.This role offers a flexible mix of responsibilities, including participation in neurology clinics and involvement in our general neurology teaching ward service, tailored to the candidate's preferences. We seek individuals who are passionate about educating our neurology residents, fellows, and medical students, fostering a commitment to clinical responsibility, collaboration, and holistic patient care. Faculty development opportunities through seminars and conferences aimed at enhancing neurology education and teaching are supported, along with avenues for clinical research and educational outcomes.Our neurology department operates within a newly established tertiary academic medical center, an expanding regional medical center, a faculty clinical practice, and a Federally Qualified Health Center. Faculty members may also qualify for federal student loan forgiveness programs.Compensation & BenefitsThe starting base salary for this position ranges from $240,000 to $290,000, adjusted based on years of experience and faculty rank. This figure does not encompass variable compensation or additional productivity incentives and is subject to the specific compensation plans of the department.
