Job Title: Adjunct Instructor Mathematics/StatisticsConcordia University, Nebraska seeks applications for an adjunct instructor to teach in-person courses in mathematics or statistics.Qualifications:Earned master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, or a related field.Relevant experience in a classroom or in the workplace.A candidate who is an active Christian is required.  Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod membership is preferred.Responsibilities:Teach courses in mathematics or statistics based on expertise and the needs of the department.  Instructional assignments may include courses in Statistics, College Algebra, Concepts of Mathematics, and Mathematics for Elementary & Middle-Level Teachers.Follow university and department policies and procedures for maintaining class records, monitoring student progress, and assessing student performance.Promptly respond to student and colleague communications.Embrace the University's mission.Actively integrate and model Christian faith in working with students and colleagues.Application Procedure:Candidates must submit the following:application form found at www.cune.edu/employment, a curriculum vitae, a statement of educational philosophy, copies of graduate academic transcripts where degrees have been received.
