What You'll Be Doing Estimate and proposal creation Proposal tracking and customer follow-up Project and job cost setups (project handoff - precon to construction) Contract negotiations and redlining Establish project schedule baselines Onboarding projects, folder and file setups Subcontractor and vendor solicitation Linear takeoffs Earthwork volume takeoffs Sales & business development for potential new projects Professional communication with general contractors, owners and municipality representatives Cooperate and communicate with others in a team environment. What You Offer Minimum 5 years of estimating experience (heavy civil) in a construction environment a must. Minimum 2 years of college, preferably in a construction related field. Experience in heavy civil construction related projects Experience with HCSS HeavyBid, Building Connected, Bluebeam, Planswift, Microsoft Suite, Agtek, Project/P6, Spectrum Open to learn other software applications Easily learn other software applications Ability to read plans A team player who works well with others or independently Strong attention to detail and problem-solving Must be self-motivated, calm under pressure, and consistently able to meet deadlines Organized with the ability to multi-task Pass a background check and drug screen Positive attitude Here's What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Paid Time Off, 401K after 90 days of employment and work all year round Paid holidays after 90 days Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance is available on the first day of employment along with Health Savings Account (HSA) Short-term disability, accident coverage, and life insurance options We are an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer and a Drug Free Workplace.
