This position requires a highly analytical individual who can work closely with finance stakeholders, business units, engineers, and data modelers to gather, transform, and analyze financial data. The role involves developing statistical models, creating visualizations, and producing reports that identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to enhance business performance. The Senior Finance Data Analyst will also be responsible for establishing best practices in data analytics, sharing knowledge with cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to elevate the organization’s data capabilities. Candidates should have a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably within the finance domain, demonstrating proficiency with programming languages such as SQL, Python, and R for data manipulation and analysis. Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker, as well as data cleansing and transformation tools such as Dataiku or Alteryx, is essential. Strong knowledge of statistical analysis techniques, business acumen, and familiarity with data warehousing, machine learning models, and data modeling are highly valued.
