We are a lean, fast-moving ecommerce team with a strong brand, a loyal customer base, and real creative standards. The RoleWe are hiring an E-Commerce Marketing Manager to serve as the operational backbone of our marketing and ecommerce team. You will report directly to the CMO and take ownership of Shopify backend execution, cross-functional project tracking, and daily operational coordination. You will not just take orders. You will actively manage the team's workflow, lead weekly sync calls, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.This person eliminates the need for the team to chase status updates. They run a weekly team sync, consolidate all approvals and outstanding items, and present a single structured weekly review to the CMO rather than ongoing back-and-forth. The CMO should hear from this person in a meaningful way, not throughout the day on scattered requests.What You'll OwnShopify Backend Execution- Own day-to-day Shopify execution: updating PDPs, collection pages, banners, discount codes, and promotional/sale setup. This is hands-on but defined in scope. Keep the site accurate and ready to launch at all times. Flag inventory issues that could impact campaigns before they become problems.PDP Management- Execute our PDP optimization strategy, ensuring every product page features accurate color-specific imagery, "What Fits Inside" content, and proper categorization. Manage Shopify web banners and announcement bar titles. Assist with CRO initiatives such as shop-by-color filtering and mobile UI updates.Project Management & Team Coordination- Own the execution timeline for all marketing and ecommerce initiatives. Lead weekly team sync calls, track deliverables from content creators and graphic designers, and ensure all assets are delivered on time and to spec. Manage web development trackers and candidate hiring pipelines.E-Commerce App & Review Management- Manage and audit our ecommerce tech stack. Run monthly performance audits on post-purchase upsell apps (Aftersell), manage the Impact affiliate program, and handle review imports and management via Okendo. Analyze post-purchase survey data to extract actionable insights.Content Distribution & Community Management- Own the daily distribution of content across YouTube and Pinterest. Manage community engagement by moderating Meta comments and assisting with customer service workflows, including utilizing AI tools to generate response drafts based on our established rules document. Enforce our asset naming convention guide across all team members.Reporting & Competitive Intelligence- Assist with daily performance and inventory reporting to ensure the CMO has accurate data for decision-making. Own recurring competitive monitoring tasks such as pulling monthly ad libraries for key competitors (e.g., Quince, Portland Leather) and organizing insights within our Google Drive architecture.You're a Strong Fit If YouHave proven experience managing backend operations on Shopify PlusHave exceptional project management skills with a track record of holding cross-functional teams accountableHave high technical aptitude and comfort working with AI tools (experience with Claude, ChatGPT, or similar AI workflows is a significant advantage)Have strong data hygiene skills. You verify all math before confirming accuracyAre self-directed and proactive. You don't wait to be asked for a status update. You already know the answer and surface it on your own terms.
