Forsythia is looking for a PREP COOK to join our team! About Forsythia: We are a contemporary French restaurant from acclaimed Chef-Proprietor Christopher Kearse. Kearse and his team exhibit a commitment to excellence and innovation from an open kitchen. Our culinary style focuses heavily on utilizing top-tier, seasonal ingredients & serving them in unique and delightful ways. Small plates and entrées rotate often with a commitment to executing elevated French Bistro-inspired fare with a contemporary twist. Skills/Requirements 2+ years of restaurant experience in a high volume, excellence driven environment Must have knowledge of pantry, simple baking, and basic prep Knife skills Excellent work ethic and dedication to the hospitality industry Must be driven to meet or exceed standards of operational excellence Outstanding written and verbal communication acumen Likes to work in a team and professional work ethic\ Maintain an orderly and clean walk in and dry storage area  Check in and Store vendor deliveries as they arrive. Food Safety Knowledge Serve Safe Certification is a major plus Ability to help during an occasional service is a plus Compensation Details Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
