Role: Program/Project Management – Semiconductor development
Overview
This role is responsible for leading complex New Product Introduction (NPI) programs for high-performance semiconductor devices, from opportunity assessment through mass production. The ideal candidate combines strong program management discipline with deep technical understanding of semiconductor and image sensor technologies and can effectively influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
Key Responsibilities
Own and deliver strategic semiconductor NPI programs against scope, schedule, cost, quality, and resource commitments
Manage the entire product lifecycle, from opportunity assessment (ROI/NPV) and project kickoff through high-volume production
Develop, maintain, and manage integrated master project schedules across engineering, manufacturing, test, and supply chain
Implement, improve, and govern standard project management methodologies, processes, and escalation frameworks
Lead core team meetings, track action items, manage risks, and drive issue resolution
Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation plans clearly and concisely to executive leadership
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders including Engineering, Marketing, Product Planning, NPI, and Manufacturing
Hold team members accountable for on-time deliverables and milestone execution
Plan and manage capital expenditures and material orders to support project milestones
Collaborate with international OEM/ODM partners and silicon foundries to ensure alignment and execution
Drive decision-making in complex, ambiguous environments while maintaining focus on business outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
7 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree or
5 years with a Master's degree
Prior experience in the semiconductor industry
Demonstrated expertise in electrical engineering, process technology, or product support
Proven ability to deliver high-quality products on schedule in fast-paced environments
Strong communication and influencing skills across all levels, including executive management.
Due to ITAR regulations, only candidates who are U.S. Persons will be considered for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors or masters degree in electrical engineering or related Engineering major
The ideal candidate for this position is a highly motivated individual with a strong background in image sensor engineering and program management
You should have a deep understanding of image sensor technologies and their applications in various industries
Additionally, you should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Experience managing the development and execution of complex engineering programs
Knowledge of wafer fab processes and planning
Knowledge of Semiconductor packaging processes
Demonstrated ability to comprehend and consider both technical and business information
Experience with international OEM/ODM silicon foundry partners
Understanding of high-volume production and test processes and requirements
Drive Core Team meetings and influence highly skilled engineers without direct lines of report, collaborative, building relationships.
Additional Technical & Domain Expertise
Strong background in image sensor technologies and their applications
Experience managing complex, cross-functional engineering development programs
Knowledge of wafer fabrication processes and planning
Knowledge of semiconductor packaging processes
Understanding of high-volume manufacturing, test processes, and production requirements
Ability to evaluate and balance technical, operational, and business considerations
Experience working with international OEM/ODM partners and silicon foundries
Proven ability to lead without direct authority by building trust, alignment, and collaboration
The Salary Range for this position is $84,000 – $136,000. Actual salary offered to candidate will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, work location, relevant candidates' experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
