Schools and educational institutions stand to gain from a richer pool of talent, expertise, and innovative solutions that only such a collaboration can offer.RESPONSIBILITIESProject-Related Duties:Oversee and manage all aspects of assigned projectsAttend weekly internal team meetings to inspect workloads, prioritize tasks, and improve communicationsWork on technology system design on projects as assignedMake technology system recommendations by considering client requirements/goalsSet up secure project file-sharing and communication systems for internal and external usePerform quality assurance on all project-related deliverablesIdentify project risks and communicate them appropriately to the project teamStay informed of BIM industry best practicesStay informed of industry best practices and standardsSchedule and participate in internal company hand-off meeting with sales representative to gain an understanding of project scope and client expectationsClearly assemble project plan with deadlines and coordinate with project support staffEffectively communicate and manage BIM resources throughout the projectSchedule, coordinate, and/or participate in ongoing project progress meetings (virtual, bi-weekly) with detailed meeting minutes documenting decisions and action itemsConstantly monitor and report on the progress of the project to all stakeholdersProactively communicate to the customer and delivery teamEvaluate and conduct research on technology systems, products, components, and applications, including security solutionsBe flexible with your work schedule as required to meet project deadlines Business Development Duties:Support/assist with business development effortsDevelop and maintain relationships and develop residual sales with existing clientsRecommend additional services to meet customer needsDevelop and maintain a good working relationship with the client, team members, and vendorsRecommend additional services to meet customer needs, including consulting on security or school system technologyMaintain relevant “talkability” about company services/capabilities, past projects, etc.Assist with the preparation of presentations, proposals, and sales contracts General Duties:Daily maintenance of Admin tools – workday (time & expense reports), Outlook CalendarPresent yourself in a professional manner, dressing appropriately for the people with whom you are working each day.Participate in team-building eventsProvide updates on all projects to management as requestedMinimize company expenses as related to travel, entertainment, and other related expensesPromote company culture and core valuesOther duties required and requested by management KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCEAt least 3 years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience in the education sector, particularly with school systems, understanding their specific technology needs and challengesExperience as a technology generalist, with a wide-ranging understanding of security systems, AV systems, technology infrastructure systems, IT & software solutions, and industry-specific toolsKnowledge of emerging trends in technology, infrastructure (structured cabling and MER/TR spaces), security, AV, and instructional technologyAbility to translate complex technical terms into easily understandable language for non-technical stakeholdersExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenOutgoing personality and demeanor and excellent interpersonal skillsGood presentation skillsExcels at operating in a fast-paced environmentOpen to direction and collaborative work style and commitment to getting the job doneAbility to attend frequent events outside of standard business hours, such as client meetings, site inspections, board meetings, and networking sessionsTravel and overnight stay as requiredExcellent computer skills and proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and OneNoteBe capable of working from a home office with reliable high-speed internetBe capable of working from a regional office if/when the company feels the time is appropriate to have an office in this regionA demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standardsEligibility for coverage under the company’s motor vehicle policyAbility to qualify for a background clearance through the State of TexasWhy PMY Group?Growth: Scale your career with diverse projects and continuous learning.Flexibility: Embrace a work-life balance with flexible hours and remote work opportunities.Impact: Your work directly transforms the venue experience for millions.Culture: Collaborate with a passionate team in a dynamic, innovative environment.Benefits: Competitive compensation, comprehensive health benefits, and company-sponsored industry certifications.We strive to build a team that reflects the diversity of the communities we work in.
