We're a people-centric firm that encourages growth, creativity, and lasting impact.Job DescriptionOlsson is seeking an experienced Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst to play a key role in evaluating, executing, and integrating M&A opportunities. The position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and partners with the Chief Development Officer and technical teams to support strategic growth initiatives. Responsibilities include assessing strategic fit, supporting due diligence efforts – including business and financial analysis – and aiding in developing deal structures, succession plans, and transition strategies.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain detailed financial models, including DCF, LBO, accretion/dilution, and merger consequences analyses.Conduct target screening, industry research, and valuation benchmarking to support pipeline development.Lead financial due diligence workstreams; quality of earnings review, working capital analysis, normalization adjustments, and synergy quantification.Create and monitor business performance metrics of deals, including KPI tracking, profitability analysis, and trend analysis.Support post-close integration tracking – synergy realization, purchase accounting and performance vs. deal thesis.QualificationsWorking collaboratively with others.Having ownership in the work you do.Using your talents to positively affect communities.Ability to contribute and work well on a team.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a related field required.Minimum of 4 years' experience in mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, corporate finance or related field.Experience with financial modeling, valuation, and analytical problem-solving.Demonstrated quantitative and analytical mindset.Ability to work in fast-paced environments while managing competing priorities.Strong collaboration skills and team-oriented mindset.Ability to travel occasionally as needed.SalaryNational Pay Range: $80,000 – $153,000 USD. Compensation may vary based on geographic location, experience, and qualifications.
