Operations Manager Role Summary The Operations Manager oversees 24/7 security operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery, regulatory compliance, and strong client satisfaction. This role provides leadership, support, and accountability for all security personnel. Minimum Qualifications 2+ years of security leadership or related supervisory experience 3+ years of verified security, law enforcement, corrections, or military experience Security management certifications (CPP, PSP) preferred Ability to obtain and maintain a valid State Security License Valid driver’s license with clean MVR Key Responsibilities Security Operations Ensure consistent, timely delivery of security services Administer and maintain guard management software Enforce workplace safety policies and procedures Support field operations, including working posts as needed Remain on-call to assist officers and address operational issues Performance & Leadership Identify, address, and resolve performance concerns Implement, communicate, and monitor operational standards Support organizational change and continuous improvement initiatives Provide proactive leadership, coaching, and accountability Client & Team Communication Serve as liaison between clients, Site Managers, Supervisors, and company leadership Maintain clear, consistent communication across all operational levels Prepare and deliver reports on performance, incidents, and client satisfaction Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual, and internal requirements Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies Maintain documentation for audits, inspections, and quality reviews Supervisory & Administrative Duties Verify and track employee licensing and certifications Report new hires and terminations to the State of Tennessee Maintain personnel and compliance records Manage scheduling and staffing to ensure full 24/7 coverage Coordinate emergency and incident response Oversee billing processes and verify invoice accuracy Required Skills & Abilities Strong leadership and supervisory capabilities Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Effective communication across verbal, written, and electronic channels Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and administrative systems Flexible availability to support 24-hour operations Positive attitude with initiative and follow-through Physical Requirements Ability to stand or sit for at least one hour Ability to walk ½ mile and climb 20 stairs without stopping Education High school diploma or equivalent (required) Bachelor’s degree in business, Security Management, or related field (preferred) Note: Responsibilities and qualifications may evolve based on business and client needs.
