Python Developer/Data Steward (Python, Alation, Collibra)

Education & Experience Required: - • Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or Electrical engineering or related field is required. • 8 years or more of software development experience or at least 5 year of experience with master’s degree in computer science or related field. Technical Skills (Required) - 2+ years exp with Alation - 5+ years exp with Data cataloging – ie Alation, Collibra, etc - *5+ years exp with object oriented programming (Python) - o 2+ years working within an Agile framework (ideally Scrum) - • Must demonstrate solid knowledge of computer science fundamentals like data structures and algorithms. (Desired) - o Experience designing well-defined Restful APIs - o Test driven development and behavior driven development. - o Datastores such as MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, Elasticsearch, MySQL, Oracle. Soft Skills (Required) - • Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints. • Passion for technology and an eagerness to contribute to a team-oriented environment.
