Utility Procurement Manager (Welcoming Relocation Candidate)
Job Summary:Our client is seeking a Utility Procurement Manager to join their team! This position is located in Irving, Texas.The Manager Utility Procurement will support the Senior Manager Utility Procurement and Financial Analytics in developing and implementing the company's energy procurement strategy. This role will be instrumental in leading and developing the team responsible for formulating, implementing and executing risk management and strategic sourcing activities necessary to provide lowest landed cost of deregulated and regulated energy. The manager will coordinate and analyze available energy purchasing options, including renewable energy, Power Purchase Agreements, or other options, which will optimize the portfolio for lowest cost. Additionally, the manager work with utility partners to minimize regulated costs across the organization.Duties:Lead and develop Utility Procurement TeamAnalyze and prepare business case justification for various procurement strategiesResearch, development and execution of multiple energy procurement strategies with different risk profiles, designed to deliver optimal cost across the portfolioOrganize market intelligence monitoring through relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers and market experts to continuously evaluate and adapt procurement strategiesResponsible for enterprise-wide execution of the company's energy budgetEnsure utility accruals are accurate and reflective of material contract changesSupport contract negotiations for complex and high-value energy agreements with external partners in collaboration with internal Legal, Finance, Accounting, Treasury, and Tax teamsEstablish and maintain communication and relationship with key regulated and deregulated utility partners Desired Skills/Experience:Bachelor's degree required8+ years of relevant work experience required Benefits:Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance PlansEmployee-Owned Profit Sharing (ESOP)401K offered The approximate pay range for this position starting at $140,000 - $150,000.
