Java Team Lead

ResponsibilitiesArchitect and lead in the analysis and development of new applications and enhancement of existing applications in an Agile environmentLead and guide a development team to successful deliveryPerform systems assessments, run assessment sessions, and deliver technical designs and staffing recommendations for project implementationDesign and lead the development and debugging of software within deadlinesConduct code reviews, provide documentation where necessary on procedures and code habitsUse knowledge of development standards, procedures, and tools throughout the development lifecycle, and ensure code reusabilityCoordinate with QA for end-to-end unit testing and post-production supportMust be able to continuously progress toward project milestones and deadlinesMust stay abreast of the latest tools and technology in the fieldOther related duties as assignedBasic QualificationsProven 5‑10+ years of progressive programming and development roles in enterprise environmentsExtensive knowledge of Python and Java frameworksDedicated leadership role in at least one full lifecycle of project, including version control, build management, unit testing, and issue tracking softwareMinimum one full cycle Python development project in a dedicated Architect capacity5+ years Java development experience3+ years Python development experience including web application, internal applications, and external user-facing applicationsExpertise with JIRAExperience mentoring and coaching developersExperience with open source application frameworksExperience in working with design patternsExperience with MySQLExperience with open source Database mapping tools, open source tools preferredMust be adaptable to changeMust be able to maintain reliable connection to company and client’s computer systems when working remotelyMust be open to travel as necessaryDesired QualificationsExperience with high volume transaction processing design and developmentExperience developing within a Service Oriented Architecture environmentExperience reading and writing UML (Specifically class and sequence diagramsExperience developing Web Services (ex.
