In this role, you will design and develop macOS-native components that operate close to the operating system, working on deep integrations with OS internals, networking, and system-level security frameworks. You will collaborate closely with security researchers, backend engineers, and platform teams to build high-performance, reliable, and secure systems that protect cloud and endpoint environments at scale.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain macOS native security components operating close to the operating systemWork with low-level OS internals, including networking, file systems, and system eventsBuild high-performance and reliable software for security and monitoring use casesIntegrate macOS components with cloud-based security servicesCollaborate closely with security researchers, backend engineers, and platform teamsParticipate in architecture decisions and contribute to scalable, data-intensive systemsEnsure code quality, performance, and security best practices throughout the development lifecycleRequirementsRequirements:US or EU citizenship / valid work permitBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field3+ years of software engineering experience in a high-level programming language (e.g. Golang, Rust, Swift, C, Java)2+ years of experience developing macOS native applicationsStrong understanding of operating system internals, networking, and file systemsExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or AzureExperience building data-intensive systems (databases, event systems, messaging systems, etc.)Nice to HaveExperience with macOS Endpoint Security FrameworkExperience with macOS Network ExtensionsExperience working with eBPF
