Job Summary:The Reliability Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of manufacturing equipment and facilities. This role will also support the design, optimization, and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment and processes.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and improve mechanical systems, tooling, and production equipmentSupport new product introduction from concept through production launchCreate and maintain engineering drawings, 3D models, and technical documentationAnalyze manufacturing processes to identify efficiency, safety, and quality improvementsDevelop and deploy preventive & predictive maintenance plansCreate and document preventive & predictive maintenance work instructionsPerform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facilitiesRespond promptly to equipment breakdowns and production issues to minimize downtimeTroubleshoot equipment failures and implement corrective actionsCollaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to improve equipment reliabilityMaintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and spare parts inventorySupport the specification, installation, commissioning, and validation of capital equipmentEnsure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulationsIdentify root causes of recurring issues and implement corrective actionsParticipate in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and reliability initiativesSupport EHS and Sustainability initiatives including energy management, consumption, and efficiency.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field2+ plus years of experience in related positionProficiency with CAD softwareStrong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processesExperience with tooling, fixtures, and production equipment designAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematicsHands-on analytical troubleshooting skillsPreferred Skills & Experience:Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)Experience with automation, robotics, or PLC-integrated systemsKnowledge of TPM, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies (root cause analysis)3D printing, machining, or fabrication skillsFamiliarity with EHS standards such as OSHA or local regulatory requirementsProject Management
