Blind/Visually Impaired Teachers are expected to: Identify, order, create, and/or teach with and on the following concepts: Braille, large print books/materials, abacus, orientation concepts, typing and visual techniques/software as indicated on student IEP'sAdminister standardized and informal diagnostic tests to assess the strength and skills of individual students for education prescriptive purposes and for goal setting, evaluation and assessment purposesConsult and collaborate with all individuals involved with the education of the studentRecord and report student progressCarry out treatment program as identified through evaluation and IEP, maintain appropriate and accurate documentation regarding assessment, planning and treatment outcomeCarry out all other duties as assignedClick on the green "Apply Now" button at the bottom of the posting to complete the online application and submit required certification credentials.
