Customers rely on Wawona for quality, consistency, and outstanding service.About This RoleThe IT Director will lead the strategic direction, implementation, and day-to-day management of technology systems across Wawona's operations. This role is responsible for ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable IT infrastructure that supports both production facilities in Clovis and Fresno, CA.The IT Director will partner cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Quality, and Leadership to align technology solutions with business goals, enhance operational efficiency, and support long-term growth.DUTIES INCLUDEIT Strategy & LeadershipDevelop and execute the company's IT strategy aligned with business objectivesLead and mentor IT staff, ensuring strong performance and professional developmentServe as a key advisor to leadership on technology investments and innovationsInfrastructure & Systems ManagementOversee all IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud systems, and cybersecurityEnsure system reliability and uptime across both production facilities and corporate functionsManage ERP systems, production systems, and business applicationsCybersecurity & ComplianceEstablish and enforce cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practicesEnsure protection of company data, systems, and intellectual propertyMaintain compliance with relevant regulations, data privacy requirements, and internal controlsOperational SupportSupport plant operations by ensuring technology systems meet production needsOversee IT support services, including helpdesk, hardware, and software troubleshootingEnsure timely resolution of system issues impacting business operationsProject Management & Continuous ImprovementLead IT projects, including system upgrades, integrations, and new technology implementationsIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and digital toolsStandardize systems, processes, and documentation across both facilitiesVendor & Budget ManagementManage relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and consultantsOversee IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and resource allocationEvaluate and implement new technologies to enhance business performanceRequirementsRequired:7+ years of progressive IT experience, including leadership rolesStrong experience with IT infrastructure, networking, and enterprise systems (ERP preferred)Proven ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional technology initiativesExperience in manufacturing, food production, or industrial environmentsKnowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and data protectionStrong problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to travel between Clovis and Fresno locationsPreferred:Experience in food manufacturing or highly regulated environmentsFamiliarity with GFSI/SQF or similar audit/compliance systemsExperience with cloud platforms, virtualization, and modern IT architectureBilingual English/SpanishLOCATIONThis position will work across our Clovis and Fresno facilities.WHY SHOULD YOU APPLYCompetitive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, FSA, DCAP, and a generous 401(k) match.Culture of Growth: We invest in training and career development-your growth matters here.Family-Owned Values: A collaborative, people-first environment where your work matters.Unique Perks: Wawona Wednesdays, seasonal appreciation events, branded gear, and more.Meaningful Impact: Help shape the future of a trusted brand in the foodservice industry.PHYSICAL AND/OR MENTAL DEMANDSWork in office and production environments, including exposure to cold storage and manufacturing settingsStand, walk, and sit for extended periodsOccasional lifting of IT equipment (up to 45 lbs.)Wear PPE when entering production areasAdditional InformationApplicants must be fully authorized to work in the U.S. and physically present in the U.S.Wawona Frozen Foods is an equal opportunity employer and considers all qualified applicants without regard to protected characteristics.Notice To RecruitersWawona Frozen Foods does not accept unsolicited resumes without a signed agreement.
