SCSEP Job Developer

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and resourceful Job Developer to join our team in advancing the mission of the Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP). The ideal candidate believes in the value of work at every age and is committed to supporting adults 55 and older as they overcome barriers to employment and re-enter the workforce with dignity and purpose. This role blends case management, job development, and community outreach. The Job Developer will work one-on-one with program participants to assess their skills, provide job readiness coaching, and develop individualized employment plans. Just as importantly, they will build relationships with employers and host agencies to create meaningful, unsubsidized employment opportunities that match each participant’s goals and abilities. Candidates should bring strong interpersonal skills, workforce development experience, and the ability to navigate the administrative requirements of a federally funded program. Comfort with Microsoft Office and database systems, flexibility, regional travel, and an unwavering commitment to excellent customer service are essential for success in this role. Qualifications Ideal candidates should have workforce knowledge. Will assist individuals aged 55+ with employment opportunities and training. Travel throughout the NE Florida region is required.
