Description:
Command Post Technologies, Inc. (CPT) is looking for a full-time Accounting Administrator to support our accounting department in Powell, OH.
The Accounting Administrator will assist with general duties in the accounting department to include:
Track financial status for projects and subcontractors
Develop and monitor annual and monthly budgets
Assist with audit inquiries
Handle daily accounting functions in accordance with GAAP and DCAA principles
Develop monthly accounting reports for current tasks and review with leadership team
Manage and maintain facility leases
401(k) administration and compliance
General ledger entries and various department reconciliations
A/P and A/R processing and maintain files
Monitor vendor payment agreements and insurance policies
Process travel expenses
Assist in developing and implementing internal accounting controls and improving department processes
Prepare and analyze financial statements
Various other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Minimum education and experience:
1+ years of financial, accounting, and management experience preferred.
Experience with basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Office and Teams
Basic math skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Defense government contracting experience preferred.
Knowledge of Unanet and QuickBooks helpful.
Knowledge of finance, budgeting, cost control principals and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Impeccable time-management skills
Capability to stay organized and maintain detailed records
Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
Ability to work independently
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy
Driven individual with excellent organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
Flexible and adept at multi-tasking in a deadline sensitive environment
The ability to collaborate with co-workers
Highly motivated for success and a strong work ethic
Excellent written and verbal and communication skills
