We’re proud to have industry-leading annual caregiver satisfaction scores of 92%!ResponsibilitiesWhat You’ll Do As A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant:Conduct individual and/or group therapy sessions according to individual needsParticipate in staff meetings and conferences indicated to review progressProvide assistance to staff regarding concerns pertaining to occupational therapy and assist staff in maintaining open communication with parents concerning occupational therapy problemsMain accurate records of services provided for statistical and billing purposesMaintain current daily notesAssist with Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) developmentAssist in providing a safe environment for all patients and staffAssist with problem solving to improve efficiency within the centerPerform duties at multiple locations, as needed (Phoenix West & Phoenix Central)What you DON’T Have to Do As A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant:Administrative stuff. You’ll have support from your Center Manager, Occupational Therapist, our Occupational Therapy Clinical Specialist, and our Director of Outpatient Therapies.Required SkillsCertified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) RequirementsAssociate’s degree in Occupational TherapyCurrent licensed certified occupational therapist assistant and registered with the American Occupational Therapy Association and licensed in applicable stateMust possess or be capable of obtaining and maintaining a CPR certificationMust possess excellent communication skills, both written and oralHopebridge is an equal-opportunity employer.
