Sourcing Manager- Infrastructure, Facilities & Construction Location: San Carlos, Ca About 1X We build humanoid robots that work alongside people to solve labor shortages and create abundance. Role Overview We are seeking a Sourcing Manager to lead sourcing and supplier strategy for facilities, construction, and physical infrastructure-related categories that support site expansion and operational scaling at 1X. This role is part of a team-based infrastructure sourcing organization, where category ownership is intentionally split across multiple Sourcing Managers based on experience and business needs. Candidates are not expected to have experience across all infrastructure categories. Depth in relevant areas is preferred over broad but shallow exposure. You WIllDevelop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned facilities and infrastructure categoriesLead RFx processes, supplier selection, negotiations, and contract executionBuild and manage supplier relationships aligned to quality, cost, and delivery requirementsPartner closely with Facilities, Real Estate, Engineering, Operations, Legal, and FinanceSupport facility buildouts, expansions, and infrastructure upgrade programsDrive cost optimization, supplier performance, and risk mitigationMonitor supplier KPIs and ensure compliance with commercial agreements Primary Category OwnershipConstruction and site expansion servicesFacilities maintenance and infrastructure services (electrical, mechanical, HVAC)Site services (security, janitorial, landscaping, food services)CAPEX equipment installation and infrastructure services Must Have8-12 years of experience in supply management, strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chainDemonstrated depth in facilities, construction, infrastructure services, or CAPEX-related sourcingProven ability to own sourcing end-to-end (strategy, supplier selection, negotiation, and contract execution)Strong commercial and negotiation skillsExperience partnering with technical and non-technical stakeholdersComfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous, startup-style environments Benefits & CompensationSalary Range: $120,000 - $155,000 + EquityHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidays Equal Opportunity Employer 1X is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
