Overview In this role you will design and implement AI-native engineering workflows and platform capabilities to improve developer productivity and ship velocity. You will work in the AI Engineering Excellence team to turn experiments into production-ready solutions that scale across the organization. You will stay hands-on, prototyping and deploying tools while evaluating new AI models and frameworks. Your work will positively influence engineering practices and the end-to-end software lifecycle. ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement AI-native engineering workflows and platform capabilities within a defined areaAnalyze end-to-end software-development workflows to identify friction points solvable by agents or automationPrototype and build production-grade workflows, services, and tools across planning, testing, deployment, and operationsWrite design documents, define interfaces, and establish maintainable implementation patternsEvaluate emerging AI tools and platforms for reliability, security, cost, and performanceLead scoped experiments from hypothesis to working capability and measure resultsContribute to common foundations and production-ready services and toolsEnsure quality, observability, security, reliability, and cost efficiency of delivered capabilitiesCollaborate across teams to resolve dependencies and communicate technical decisionsMentor engineers, influence best practices, and promote effective AI-native engineering practices Key requirementsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field AND 2+ years of engineering experience with languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python; OR equivalent experienceAdditional: 4+ years with BS, or 2+ years with MS; or equivalent experienceExperience delivering production software, developer tools, or platform components in a collaborative teamExperience using generative AI models, coding agents, or engineering platforms to build software with attention to reliability and oversightExperience improving developer workflows and measuring outcomesWorking knowledge of cloud platforms, distributed systems, CI/CD, observability, or securityExperience building or operating products for developers, AI-enabled workflows, or cloud infrastructure (preferred)Demonstrated ability to solve ambiguous problems, trade-offs, and take features from design to productionStrong communication, collaboration across teams, and openness to feedbackclear communicationcollaboration across teamsproblem solving and adaptabilityC/C++/C#/Java/JavaScript/Pythoncloud platformsdistributed systems
