_*Executive Functioning Specialist*_ _*Seeking a compassionate educator who cares deeply about supporting adolescents navigating executive functioning challenges related to ADHD/ ASD and the shame, defensiveness, and frustration that can come with feeling stuck.*_ We help bright, creative adolescents strengthen executive functioning skills such as task awareness, time management, self-advocacy, prioritization, organization, task initiation, and study skills. Our Specialists help clients better understand how their brains work and develop practical, individualized strategies that build confidence, independence, and greater success at school and in daily life. *What does the work look like?* As an Executive Functioning Specialist, you would use the Encompass methodology to work one-on-one with adolescents in remote weekly sessions. You’ll help clients strengthen their Executive Functioning to better navigate the real demands of their lives from school and extracurriculars to home responsibilities, and downtime. Just as importantly, you’ll help them understand the connection between executive functioning and their emotional well-being, including how overwhelm, perfectionism, frustration, and negative self-talk can make it harder to get started and follow through. The goal isn’t simply to help clients “get more done,” but to help them develop greater self-awareness and confidence as they learn strategies that work for their brains and lives. We provide extensive paid training for all new hires which covers our methodology and session management best practices.
