Job Description Job Title: Assembler Location: McGregor, MN Compensation: $17.00 per hour - paid weekly Schedule: Monday- Friday Job Type: Temp-to-Hire | Full-timeAbout the Opportunity Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Assembler workers for a manufacturing / metal fabrication company. In this role, you'll support production by assembling and welding metal components while following quality and safety standards. If you enjoy hands-on work, using tools and equipment, and working as part of a team in a manufacturing environment, this could be a great fit. Read below for more information!What You'll Do as an Assembler:Perform all company values and daily interactions with coworkers and customersMeasure and set up equipment, prepare surfaces, and position parts for weldingUse hand tools and shop equipment such as grinders, portable spot welders, hammers, screwdrivers, clamps, fixtures, and jigsRead and interpret blueprints, prints, and detailed work proceduresAssemble and weld parts to meet quality and production standardsFollow all safety policies, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean work area What You Need to Bring to the Assembler:Ability to lift and manipulate parts up to 50 lbs (team lift if needed)Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions (reaching, bending, twisting)Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measureAbility to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbolsPrior welding or metal fabrication experience preferredGood hand-eye coordination and attention to detailAbility to follow safety instructions and wear required protective equipment Why You'll Like Working with Doherty Staffing Solutions Enjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
