Lab Manager
Responsibilities:- Owner/Manager of the physical and virtual testing environment(s) e.g. CTF, EDTE, etc.- Member of a cross-functional team evaluating and developing products and services utilizing future technology- Will work in an agile project management, business analyst and technical/data analyst role around these innovation efforts, as well as take on logistic and coordination responsibilities associated with innovation physical and virtual lab/test activities- Serve as the primary point of contact and maintain positive relationships with key internal and external suppliers, customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate dependencies between teams, understand business use cases, goals and requirements for evaluations, experiments, POC's and Pilots- The Lab Manager is responsible for tracking all resources and schedules, including coordination of issues, risks and changes to ensure successful and on-time test environment operations- Assist in ordering products, tracking deliveries and coordinating installation of hardware and software- Manage physical and digital security and access to the lab for internal and external personnel and ensure access and security/privacy requirements and policies are met- Assist in the vetting and management of vendors, including coordinating execution of NDA's, MSA's, SOW's and similar contracts to procure adequate resources to achieve Lab objectives in planned timeframes- Coordinate purchase orders and SOWs to suppliers and ensure follow-up and on-time delivery and payment- Strong working experience with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) - Strong working experience with system hardening processes and procedures e.g. GPO, Registry, etc. and subsequent re-scanning and vulnerability comparative analysis reporting - Responsible to fully document assigned tickets to show all work performed in order to pass SLRs- Responsible to maintain accurate CMDB entries for assigned tickets or tasks, personally and for team membersQualifications:- US citizenship is required- BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Physical Science, or other technology-related discipline.EducationSubstitution: For each year of degree required, 2 years of experience may be substituted. - Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a technical manager/lead or technical project manager, or 12+ years of technical analyst or related work experience- Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Microsoft Test Manager, Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Microsoft Access, SharePoint (user), VMware or similar software applications - Expert-level experience with testing, scanning, and vulnerability assessment software e.g. Tenable Nessus Pro, Cenzic, etc.- Strong organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail- Experience in managing a team of resources and delivering on a schedule- Agility to flex and adapt to rapidly evolving business conditions and environment- Execute responsibilities with a sense of urgency and follow-through- Customer service mind-set and a team player mentality- Positive, proactive work ethic and approach- Demonstrated abilities to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines- Show tact, discretion, confidentiality, and good judgment in handling sensitive and confidential matters and documentationPosting Date: Department: -
